iQOO Neo6 with SD8G1 and 1,200Hz touch sampling rate announced!

The device arrived in Orange, Blue, and Black design at the back along with a large 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a whopping 1,200Hz touch sampling rate, FHD+ resolution, In-Display fingerprint reader, and a punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera.

To recap, touch sampling rate is the number of times a display can refresh itself to register a user touch input in one second. The higher, the better.

Inside, the device is packed with the top-of-the-line 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip with a new-gen Adreno GPU. It is paired with up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB expandable internal storage, and a 4,700mAh battery with USB-C 80W fast charging that can charge the device from 20 to 80 percent in just 19 minutes.

The handset is also boasting pretty good cameras at the back headlined by the 64MP main shooter with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and  2MP depth sensor.

Of course, the device has WiFi 6, 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual-band GPS. It runs with Android 12 OS with OriginOS skin on top.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

iQOO Neo6 8GB/128GB - CNY 2,799 (around PHP 22.9K)
iQOO Neo6 8GB/256GB - CNY 2,999 (around PHP 24.5K)
iQOO Neo6 12GB/256GB - CNY 3,299 (around PHP 27K)

In China, it will be available for sale starting April 20. There is no info regarding its international availability details.
