PLDT fiber internet added to Clark International Airport's new terminal

The fiberization of Clark International Airport's new terminal building was handled by PLDT Clarktel Inc., a unit of PLDT and the pioneer telecommunications and digital services provider in the Clark Freeport Zone. LIPAD, or Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp., manages and operates the new terminal.

Smart has also invested in bringing 5G coverage and free Smart WiFi to Clark International Airport's New Terminal to assist provide a reliable mobile experience for all passengers and stakeholders.

The New Terminal at Clark International Airport is 1.5 kilometers from the current passenger terminal and will serve both domestic and international travelers.

It features four levels, 18 aerobridges, and a 110,000 square meter floor space. The terminal will use contactless technology to make passenger travel more smooth and convenient. The terminal is expected to begin operations on May 2.
