Samsung Galaxy M53 5G with Dimensity 900 arrives in the Philippines, SRP is PHP 30K!
More than a month following its global reveal, Samsung earlier revealed the official Philippine price of the new Galaxy M53 5G.

A new big-screen phone from the South Korean tech firm in the Philippines
To recap, it is an upper mid-range device featuring a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 6nm Dimensity 900 octa-core 5G-ready chip, and 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 25W "Super Fast Charging" (25W is slow for an upper mid-range device versus the competition).
In the Philippines, the Galaxy M53 5G will come with 8GB RAM and 256GB expandable storage instead of just 6GB and 128GB.
For cameras, it uses a large 108MP main shooter assisted by an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle secondary helper, 2MP f/2.4 macro camera, and another 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
Weirdly, Samsung still used a side-mounted fingerprint reader even if it has an AMOLED panel. The rest of the competition is already equipped with a more modern In-Display fingerprint scanner.
Unlike its cousins from the Galaxy A series, there is no mention of an IP rating for water and dust resistance as well.

The Galaxy M53 5G has a high price tag of PHP 29,999 for a device with a Dimensity 900 chip only. Dimensity 900 is a chip you can get on phones as low as PHP 12K.
