From the opening day of the tournament, The PH team already sent a message to other countries by dominating the group A stage with an undefeated record of 6-0 against Malaysia, Laos, and Myanmar.

As the Sibol players reach the semifinals, they met their first defeat over Singapore in game 1. But that loss gave them the needed information to win the remaining games eventually securing the Gold medal match and a guaranteed at least a Silver medal.

On the other hand, Indonesia is another powerhouse from Group B with an also undefeated score in both the group stages and the playoffs securing the spot for the grand finals.

For the game 3 match, the all-star lineup of Indonesia seems to have the upper hand most of the time, the Philippines however tried to trade objectives as best as they can. But onto the Final clash at lord's area, Sibol players manage to reduce their foe into two members giving them that small window to finish the intense game. They ended it with a score of 24-16 and upped the series 2-1.

In the final game, the match ended quickly after Sibol members sees an instant wipeout of their rivals at the 10 minutes and 32-second mark. They immediately rallied the mid-lane and attacked the base head-on before Indonesia players gets revived. They got a score of 7-2 and finishes the series with 3-1.

The sidelaners were completed with newbies in the pro scene with Kyle Dominic Soto and Lee Howard Gonzales. Despite that, the two proved that they can compete at the highest level with the guidance of their Coach Bon Chan and Aniel Jiandani along with the whole members of the team.

Through their efforts, the Philippines once again holds the gold medal.
