Two powerful vivo smartphones introduced!

The S15 Pro would be the top variant here, it goes with a slim and premium design and shares a lot of resemblance with the flagship X-series.

It comes with a 6.56-inch AMOLED E5 screen with 1080 x 2376 resolution, 1500 nits for brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support.

Inside, it is equipped with 2.85GHz 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. Alongside that, there's also an additional chip called Gaming Graphics Core Pro to aid the GPU to achieve a stable frame rate when playing. The smartphone is paired with 8 or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Powering the unit will be a 4,500mAh battery capacity, coupled with an 80W flash charging. The brand claims it reaches 70 percent of juice in just 18 minutes and fulls it in 35 minutes.

Meanwhile, its cameras are using 50MP Sony IMX766V with OIS for its primary, followed by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and can double as a macro shooter too. The third camera will be a 2MP depth helper. As for selfies, it uses a 32MP sensor.

Other features are cooling systems which vivo calls "gaming-grade", stereo speakers, and X-axis linear motor with 500 presets for haptic feedback.

For connectivity, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB-C. vivo designed this smartphone with 360-degree antenna coverage to provide uninterrupted connection.

Lastly, the OS will be Android 12 with vivo's OriginOS Ocean skin on top.

The vivo S15

The second smartphone introduced will be the vivo S15. This device looks somewhat like a combination of an iPhone and the X-series of vivo in terms of design.

It also has a centered-punch hole display. The 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel is slightly lower and uses E4 material with up to 1,300 brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate, and still supports HDR10+.

This time, the vanilla variant uses a chipset from Qualcomm which is the 3.2GHz 7nm Snapdragon 870 Peak Edition with Adreno 650 GPU. According to the brand, it is aided by a VMET memory technology chip which makes it the fastest SD870 up to date. Its RAM has options for 8 or 12GB while the storage has 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1.

For battery, it is just the same as the Pro with 4,500mAh but the fast charging is toned down to 66W. It can reach 0-50 percent in just 18 minutes.

Moving to the cameras, the S15 uses a 64MP with OIS for its main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP module for depth. While the front-facing shooter remains the same with 32MP.

Other features would be the same Vapor Chamber cooling feature which can give a 1.2-degree drop in temperature. It also has an in-display fingerprint reader.

Connectivity features will be 5G, 4G WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB-C.
