PLDT inks partnership with DICT and UNDP for public WiFi for PH state universities

The United Nations Development Programme and the Department of Information and Communications Technology have chosen PLDT to help connect 220 state universities and colleges across the country to the large public Wi-Fi access roll-out.

On June 7, the flagship project, which was launched at the Bulacan Polytechnic College in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan with a simultaneous online screening at Nueva Vizcaya State University, will boost the education sector's online and blended learning programs and support faculty and academe's connectivity needs. Major state universities such as Bulacan State University, Bacolod City College, and Bukidnon State University are among those participating in the program.

This campaign promotes #NoLearnerLeftBehind and showcases PLDT and Smart's advocacy for digital inclusion through technology. It also demonstrates PLDT's commitment to assisting the Philippines in achieving UNSDG 4 on Quality Education for All.
