More hubs for storing and shipping products have also opened up more entrepreneurial opportunities for Filipinos in Mindanao.

In line with this expansion, Shopee conducted a series of onboarding initiatives to help businesses find their footing in the fast-paced world of e-commerce. They teamed up with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for its first Shopee Roadshow in Davao.

Shopee enlisted trade experts to teach Davao-based entrepreneurs how to run and grow their businesses more efficiently through workshops and live seller engagement events–Shopee Kamustahan.

This is just one of Shopee’s many initiatives to democratize e-commerce in the Philippines.
