The Garmin Forerunner 255 series is now in the Philippines and it is improved from the Forerunner 245 series. One of the new features is the Full triathlon support that can switch up a workout routine with triathlon and multisport activity profiles. During races and brick workouts, you can easily toggle with a single button press.

There is also the Morning Report feature that allows users to receive the day's weather forecast and daily workout suggestions. It will also inform users about last night's sleep quality and HRV status. The Race Widget includes a race day-specific performance prediction, race day weather, and a countdown clock.

The HRV sensor tracks heart rate variability while sleeping to get a better handle on recovery and an overall wellness picture. You can be guided by the Garmin Coach for training for a 5K, 10K, or half marathon

The Forerunner 255 series provides performance monitoring technologies to help athletes push their boundaries while providing individualized training and recovery insights. With dozens of integrated sports apps, including triathlon, cycling, pool and open-water swimming, track running, and others, athletes may also change up their exercises. 

The Wrist-based Pulse Ox3 and the Body Battery, which display current energy levels to assist athletes in determining the ideal periods for activity and rest, are also included in the series. Additionally, it helps women by offering menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking, which enables them to modify their training schedules in order to prepare for upcoming races.

Built-in safety and monitoring features include incident detection, help, and LiveTrack to let loved ones follow you on a run or ride, whether you're exercising alone or with others. After a workout, the Forerunner 255 series will automatically upload activities to Garmin Connect, a free site without a membership where athletes can examine all of their health and fitness data, connect with friends and compete with them, sign up for challenges, and more.

The Forerunner 255 series is brimming with connected capabilities that allow users to make the most of their wristwatch. These features include smart social and SMS notifications, as well as built-in audio that can store up to 500 songs from Spotify.
