vivo Y22 with Helio G70 and IP54 water and dust resistance launched in India!
vivo has just launched the newest member of the y series line of smartphones that comes with water and dust resistance.

Y22 arrives!
Back in August, vivo launched the Y22s. Now in September, the company has unveiled the new Y22.
The new smartphone features a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 1600 x 720 resolution, 530 nits peak brightness, and 89.67 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Inside is the aging MediaTek Helio G70 octa-core processor, ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, microSD card expandable storage slot, and a 5,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging via USB-C.
At the back of the phone are the 50MP f/1.8 primary camera and the 2MP f/2.4 macro camera with an LED flash while in front is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Other features include a 3.5mm earphone jack, IP54 water and dust resistance, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFI 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It runs FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 12.
The phone measures 164.30 x 76.1 x 8.38 mm and weighs 190 grams. Lastly, it will come in either Starlit Blue or Metaverse Green colorways.

The 4GB/64GB variant is now available for purchase on the vivo India website along with vivo offline stores. The same website lists a 6GB/128GB variant that is said to be coming soon.
There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing.
