TECNO POVA 4 w/ Helio G99 chip now official in the Philippines, priced at PHP 7,999!

TECNO Philippines has just launched its newest affordable and capable smartphone in the Philippines, the POVA 4.

TECNO has a new bang-for-the-buck phone under PHP 8K in PH!

The POVA 4 is a sub-PHP 10K smartphone featuring a stylish-looking boxy frame with big chamfered edges in Uranolith Gray and Cryolite Blue textured colorways behind and a large 6.82-inch LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution, and a top-center punch-hole for the 8MP selfie camera with One Flash.

Inside, it is also using a pretty good chip. The device is powered by the new 6nm MTK Helio G99 chip with up to 2.4GHz clock speed and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM + 5GB virtual RAM (total of 13MP Memory Fusion), 128GB expandable storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with Fast Charge tech via USB-C.

TECNO claims that a 20 minutes charge can give the device 20 percent of total usage and it can be used for up to 3 hours of gameplay.

Moreover, its battery has an STS technology coating that improves safety by preventing internal short circuits caused by direct contact between the aluminum foil and the anode.

For cameras, it has a large 50MP main sensor "that can capture ultra-clear" images. It also has an HDR Mode and Portrait Beauty. It is paired with an "AI" camera with an unclear purpose (Maybe for scene optimization).

The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, Heat Dissipation System, 4G LTE, and Android 12 OS with HiOS skin.
