vivo launches Y22s in the Philippines with up to 16GB total RAM, starts at PHP 10,999

vivo today introduced a more affordable option if you find the Y35 too expensive—the Y22s.

Starting at PHP 10,999 for the 4GB RAM variant up to PHP 12,999 for the 8GB RAM edition, the new vivo Y22s highlights a 2.4GHz 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU, 5,000mAh battery capacity, 18W Fast Charge tech via USB-C and a 50MP main camera.

The device also has Extended RAM 3.0 that converts up to 8GB of its 128GB internal storage into RAM. vivo said that this can increase the active apps by up to 23 percent versus the previous-gen Extended RAM 2.0 tech. In total, this solution gives the Y22s up to 16GB of total RAM.

The handset also has an IP54 water splash resistance rating, a 6.55-inch HD+ notch screen, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, BT 5.0, and Android 12 OS with Funtouch OS 12 skin.

The new vivo Y22s 4GB is priced at PHP 10,999 while the 8GB variant will retail for PHP 12,999. It will be available exclusively via Lazada from October 25, 2022, to November 05, 2022. Moreover, it will come with a discounted price of PHP 10,599 during the Lazada Brand Spotlight on October 25, 2022. It will even come with a FREE SIM card and TWS earbuds for every Y22s purchase that day.
