The Moto X40 is the company's latest flagship smartphone. In terms of design, It is a pretty modest yet sleek-looking flagship with a 3D curved screen and a somewhat flat look. It features a square camera island and the signature Motorola logo at the back. It was also certified to be IP68 protected from dust and water. s

It also has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution but no other detail has been shared. We expect at least a 120Hz refresh rate though. Inside, it has the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with a next-gen Adreno GPU. It will have up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging.

It also comes with a triple-camera setup with an impressive 50MP main camera + 50MP ultra-wide-angle + 12MP portrait camera combo with LED flash. The selfie camera details were not yet confirmed. It will also run Android 13 out of the box.

Other features include the In-Display fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB-C.

More details are expected as the December 15 launch date draws closer. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
