CES 2023: ASUS unveiled the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED w/ 13th gen Core i9 and RTX 40 series

ASUS unveiled the world's first 3D OLED mobile workstation at the ongoing CES 2023 innovation event.

To start,  it has a 16-inch 3.2K 3D OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. As its main highlight, the machine uses the so-called ASUS Spatial Vision technology which allows 2D content to be converted into 3D visuals without the use of special glasses or VR headsets. The display also has a 0.2ms response time, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, Pantone validated, and supports SGS Eye Care.

For those who prefer the usual display, ASUS will still offer the traditional 2D OLED touchscreen variant.

Inside, the new ProArt laptop is a 10nm 13th Gen Intel Core i9 13980HX processor and comes with an NVIDIA 4000 Series GPU. It is paired with up to 64GB upgradeable DDR5 RAM and up to 8TB SSD and 2x M.2 slots for an upgrade.

More features

Its battery is loaded with 90WHr capacity (4-cell Li-ion) and charges through an AC 240W adapter.

While the web camera has Full HD resolution with a privacy shutter and supports Windows Hello.

Other features mentioned are the IceCool Pro thermal tech with liquid metal and per-key keyboard air-intake design, ASUS dial, Haptic touchpad, MIL-STD-810H military grading, 4x stereo speakers, and Backlit Chicklet keyboard.

For ports, it has 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 2x USB-C (PD, TB4, display), 1x 3.5mm combo audio jack, 1x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, 1x DC-in, SD Express 7.0 card reader. While for wireless connectivity, it has WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The software runs Windows 11 Pro or the Pro business edition which the brand recommends.

Unfortunately, ASUS hasn't revealed the price yet as well as the availability. Considering how muscled the internals are it's obviously on the expensive side.
