TCL has a new set of smartphones ranging from entry-level to mid-range hardware called the TCL 40 Series.
Starting with the entry-level variant called the TCL 40 XL, features a 6.75-inch LCD (IPS) display and HD+ resolution,12nm MTK Helio G37 chipset, 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and 5,000mAh battery. While its cameras have a 50MP sensor coupled with 2MP auxiliary helper.
Next is the TCL 40 XE 5G, the phone comes with a textured matte finish that looks like a wood's surface but is made of plastic. There's also the usual rectangular camera island while the logo is found in the bottom right corner.
It comes with a huge 6.75-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 7nm MTK Dimensity 700 chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable memory, and a 5,000mAh battery. The rear cameras have a 13MP + 2MP + 2MP trio, while it also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader for security.
The third device is called the TCL 40 X 5G, this one has a smaller 6.56-inch LCD HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Inside is the MTK 7nm Dimensity 700, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable memory, and a 5,000mAh battery. For taking pictures, it uses 50M + 2MP + 2MP triple rear cameras and 8MP for selfies.
Apart from the 40 Series devices, the brand also revealed the TCL 406 smartphone. This time, the handset bears a 6.6-inch LCD (IPS) panel with HD+ resolution however not much information is said such as the chip, RAM, and storage. But they said it comes with a 5,000mAh battery, 13MP rear sensor, stereo speakers, and Android 13 OS.
