POCO C55 launched with 6.71-inch display, Helio G85!

POCO reveals a new entry-level smartphone that will join its long list of budget products called the C55.

For a change, POCO opted to use a leather-like stitch design instead of plastic material on the phone's rear body which comes with Black, Cool Blue, and Forest Green color choices.

The features

Upfront, it comes with a 6.71-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 1,500:1 contrast ratio. While the panel is protected with a Panda Glass protection and oleophobic coating.

Inside, it has the 12nm 2.4GHz Helio G85 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 GPU, 4GB or 6GB RAM + 5GB Virtual RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage.

The battery has a 5,000mAh capacity coupled with 10W standard charging and a micro USB cable.

Others are a 3.5mm audio jack, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM support.

For OS, it runs Android 12 with MIUI 13 skin on top.

India price with direct-to-PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

POCO C55 4GB/64GB - INR 9,499 (around PHP 6.3K)

POCO C55 6GB/128GB - INR 10,999 (around PHP 7.3K)

The device is going to be available in India on February 28, 2023. However, we can't say yet if it will arrive in the Philippine market.
