ASUS launches ROG and TUF series laptops with Ryzen 7000 series chips in PH!

ASUS announces the arrival of three laptops in the Philippines namely the TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition and Zephyrus Duo 16.

To start, the TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition boasts a 16-inch WUXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology for better refresh rates.

Inside, the machine is equipped with the Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU, paired with up to 2x 8GB DDR5 RAM (4800MHz) and up to 2TB PCIe SSD Gen 4 storage.

It comes with the new AMD Radeon RX 7600S GPU with 8GB GDDR6 memory.

To keep the device powered on, ASUS included a 90WHr battery and USB-C Power Delivery built-in. However, the charging speed isn't specified.

The laptop also has AMD SmartShift, Smart Access Memory, SmartAccess Graphics, and MUX switch as software features for gaming.

The Zephyrus Duo 16

Up next is the Zephyrus Duo 16 with two models. It's called duo as the notebook comes with 2 displays. First the 16-inch WQXGA Mini LED screen with a 240Hz refresh rate, 1100 peak brightness, and 16:10 aspect ratio. While the secondary display is a touch panel with a 14-inch size, 4K resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass DXC, and anti-fingerprint coating.

Both models use the Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU. They only differ in terms of GPU used as users can choose between the RTX 4080 or the RTX 4090 graphics card.

For memory configurations, these laptops can have up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and up to 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

In terms of battery, they come with a 90WHr capacity which can be charged using a 330W power supply.

ASUS also highlights the ROG Intelligent Cooling system. The laptops use the Liquid Metal Conductonaut Extreme which they claim reduces temperature by up to 15 degrees celsius while the Aerodynamic Plus 2.0 provides better airflow and handles noise reduction of the fans.

Lastly,  all three ASUS laptops come with Windows 11 as their Operating System.

You may get these laptops at the Grand Reopening of the ROG Concept Store in SM North Edsa this coming March 10. You may also catch them at the nearest Concept Stores as well.
