ASUS shares "how to choose the right 16-inch laptop", and highlights the new Vivobook 16 Series.
There are countless choices in the market today when it comes to choosing suitable equipment for you.
In most cases, Filipinos must decide between portability and performance, performance over the better display or better display over portability. But ASUS is saying, what if there's something that can meet all of those without the compromise.
Below are the tips shared by ASUS:
1. The OLED advantage - The brand says its new line of 16-inch laptops features OLED screens such as the Vivobook Pro 16 OLED (K6602). They mentioned its display has vibrant and popping colors with wide panels enough to cater to your needs on the go. Not to mention it has a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and is Pantone-validated, ensuring on-point colors whether it is in a dark editing room or well-lit cafes.
For users who enjoy post-processing videos, having this type of panel on an editing device ensures flicker-free and smooth motions, especially in fast-paced sequences.
Apart from the display, the machine also features Core-i7-12700H CPU, 16GB RAM, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, and RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
It is capable of handling fast video editing, entry-level 3D animation workflows, and similar tasks, allowing users to spend more time creating outstanding content and less time staring at progress bars.
Aside from a larger display, ASUS also highlighted its Creator-centric features to enhance its creative workflow. The MUX Switch on the Vivobook Pro 16 OLED enables lower latency and higher performance when working in 3D. The ASUS Dial on the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED (UX7602) and the ASUS DialPad on the ASUS Vivobook Pro 16X OLED (N7601) provide a more ergonomic and streamlined way of working for creators. They may fully control parameter modifications in various Adobe apps with this rotary control. These ASUS Creator 16-inch laptops also get a free three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud.
2. Choose the balance between performance and design - ASUS claimed that it's Vivobook 16X (M1603) and ASUS Vivobook 16 (X1605) make it possible to have an all-around high-performing productivity device in a compact design.
They have a 16-inch LCD wide-view NanoEdge display, slim body, Ryzen 7 5800H mobile processor or Core i7-1255U CPU, 8GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, and Windows 11 with Office 2021 Home and Student versions.
3. Choose upgraded features - The brand says these laptops are also equipped with AI Noise-Cancelling Technology, 3D Noise Reduction (16-inch tablets), ErgoSense keyboards, Antibacterial Guard, and MIL-STD-810H U.S military certification.
ASUS said that if you haven't decided which one yet, their most affordable Vivobook 16 Series with 4K OLED is priced at PHP 56,995.
