1. Elegant slim design - the phone strikes a premium-looking back cover with glittery-like effects. It has silver colors but it changes whenever light hits it as you twist the phone. While the frame is made of metal giving it a more luxurious feel.

In addition, it is just 7.45mm thin and weighs 179 grams only making it easier to hold.

2. 6.7-inch Edgeless Display - As you can see, the device has thin bezels on both the left, right and top portions. However, it still has a chin bezel although HONOR still manages to make it slimmer compared to other phones.

Apart from the wide LCD panel, the handset features Full HD+ 2388 x 1080 resolution at 391 ppi alongside the 90Hz refresh rate for a smoother viewing experience. HONOR also included Eye care features like comfort mode, E-book, Dark mode, Daylight and nighttime screen algorithm, and TUV Rheinland certification for Low Blue Light.

3. 8GB + 128GB - The brand used an adequate amount of RAM and storage in terms of the current standard this year. This should be enough and a bit more future-proof for the upcoming applications in the next year or two.

4. 100MP Ultra Camera - This is the main highlight of the phone, you don't often see 3-digit megapixels in its price range. In general, more MPs don't exactly mean that the picture quality will be good and it will not produce "DLSR-like" like what the company is claiming.

But HONOR is still doing pretty good in terms of details, dynamic range, and color accuracy in our daylight shots. Its output is not bad for an affordable smartphone.

5. Decent battery - The HONOR X8a comes with a 4,500mAh capacity which provides sufficient juice throughout the day. You're going to need it, particularly for your outdoor photography. In case you ran out of power, the brand included a 22.5W charger to fill it in a few hours.
