Samsung Galaxy A34 and A54 5G w/ 120Hz AMOLED launches in the Philippines!

Samsung officially unveils the next generation of A Series smartphones that are arriving in the Philippines soon.

Powerhouse mid-range offerings?

The next generation of A-series smartphones has just been revealed by Samsung. 

The first of the two new smartphones is the Galaxy A34 5G. It comes with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2340 x 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1,000 nits peak brightness.

Inside is the 6nm 2.6GHz MediaTek Dimensity 1080 octa-core processor, ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging via USB-C.

At the back of the phone is a 48MP f/1.8 primary camera with OIS, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle camera, and a 5MP f/2.4 Macro camera with an LED Flash. While on the notch is the 13MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Lastly, the Galaxy A34 5G measures 161.3 x 78.1 x 8.2 mm and weighs 199 grams.

The second of the new phones is the new Galaxy A54 5G. It has a smaller 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2340 x 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1000 nits peak brightness, and a punch hole.

Inside the Galaxy A54 5G is the 5nm 2.4GHz Exynos 1380 octa-core processor, Mali-G68 MP5 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging via USB-C.

At the back of the Galaxy A54 5G is a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera with OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP f/2.4 macro with an LED Flash. While on the punch hole is the 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Both phones come with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, an In-Display fingerprint sensor, IP67 water and dust resistance, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, OTG, NFC, and dual SIM support.

The Galaxy A34 will be available in either Awesome Black or Awesome Violet while the Galaxy A54 will come in either Awesome Black, Awesome Lime, and Awesome Violet (online exclusive).
