You can now buy load from 21 countries using GCash!

Following the introduction of GCash overseas, the fintech firm now allows Filipinos abroad to buy load from 21 countries.

With this, the firm will be the first e-wallet app to introduce the feature in the country but will still be in the beta phase for a short period. 

They said just like buying load from the app, the international load feature lets users buy load for an international number.

With this feature, Filipinos can easily access 48 international telecommunications providers and buy prepaid load for their family members to help them stay connected wherever they are in the world,” said GCash president and CEO Martha Sazon.

The said service will be available in countries such as Egypt, Ghana, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zambia. While the full launch is expected to arrive in late 2023 as per Globe's claims.

Similarly, OFWs in the US can now buy load and use other GCash services using the app. Furthermore, GCash is available in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy.

GCash has partnered with DT One, a prominent global provider of digital transfer solutions, to enable the latest worldwide offering from the financial super app. DT One is also responsible for powering payment and financial platforms such as Binance Pay, Grab, and Paypal.
