Repair works ongoing
In an advisory this week, PLDT said some of its customers may be experiencing service interruptions due to an issue it encountered with one of its international submarine cables.
An outage by one of our international submarine cables may be causing service interruptions, it said in a social media post.
Our partners are already working to repair this. Thank you for your patience, PLDT added.
PLDT did not provide a timeline on when the repair works will be completed.
As of Saturday, there was also no update regarding the issue.
Some PLDT users said they have been experiencing service interruptions for days, while some said the connection is back in their area.
