The key details for Nothing's second iteration of the smartphone emerge alongside its design.
Carl Pei, the founder of the startup phone company has been teasing his next smartphone even back at the MWC 2023.
Now, a design image of the phone has been leaked by Sunay Gourkhede on Twitter but originally came from Ben Geskin. It shows the device will have a more refreshed look with a transparent design, and familiar Glyph LED lights while the frames are believed to use aluminum material.
In terms of display, rumors suggest it is going to feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate similar to the first generation.
Inside, Carl Pei already confirmed that the phone will feature the 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU.
Another speculation says that the phone could feature 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage while the battery is expected to have a 5,000mAh capacity with fast wired and wireless charging support.
Other features rumored are the stereo speakers and NFC while there's also a hint that Nothing could implement a satellite communication technology like what other flagship contenders have.
However, this kind of feature may also skyrocket the price of the upcoming phone so there's also a possibility that they won't push it.
Again these are just leaked information and are not official yet so please take them with a grain of salt.
The launch of the phone(2) is expected in Summer 2023. Let's all wait and see until then.
What do you guys think?
