Top five highlights of the HUAWEI nova 11 and 11 Pro - 60MP selfie camera beasts?

HUAWEI officially launched the new nova 11 Series in the Philippines earlier. Here are the top highlights of its vanilla and Pro versions.

These phones are HUAWEI's latest premium mid-range, the vanilla nova 11 starts at PHP 24,999 while the Pro is priced at PHP 33,999.

1. Slim and luxurious design - The standard nova 11 has a refined body now slimmer than its predecessor at 6.8mm while increasing its battery from 4,000mAh to 4,500mAh.

Additionally, it looks trendy and elegant, making it an easy head-turner for those who will see it.

On the other hand, the Pro variant has a more "luxurious" feel as HUAWEI included the "nova Monogram Vegan Leather Design". Of course, still has a thin body at 7.88mm this time.

2. Smooth gorgeous display - Both devices have 6.7-inch OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, 1.07 billion colors, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and 300Hz touch sampling rate.

What differentiates them is that the regular nova 11 has a flat display and FHD+ 2412 x 1084 resolution. While the nova 11 Pro has a sexier 3D curved display, a higher resolution at 2652 x 1200 with a 395-pixel density. 

Moreover, the Pro's Green color variant is reinforced with the Kunlun Glass protection, HUAWEI's own take on ultra-durable glass which they touted as "near unbreakable". They claimed it can withstand intense drops, scratches, and more 10x better than their regular glass.

3. More than enough storage - The two phones also feature the industry standard 8GB RAM and sizeable storage at 256GB. This will provide users enough space to use for their apps, games, saved videos, and files.

4. 66W and 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge - Both phones feature an ultra-fast charging capability which can fill the batteries in less waiting time. The nova 11 has the 60W while the Pro variant gets the faster 100W adaptor which you only often see on a flagship device.

5. 50MP Ultra Vision rear cameras, 60MP selfie cameras - Another highlight is the camera setup of the two devices.

They both feature 50MP f/1.9 RYYB Ultra Vision Camera w/ QPD Full-Pixel Precise Focus, AIS + 8MP f/2.2 Ultra-Wide Macro Camera w/ 112-degree ultra-wide-angle, 2cm macro + Laser Focus Sensor + 10-Channel Color Temperature Sensor. This will provide realistic, rich, and vibrant colors on the images and an on-point dynamic range.

On the selfie side, both have a 60MP f/2.4 100-degree ultra-wide sensor designed to let more people fit in the frame. Moreover, the nova 11 Pro gets an additional 8MP f/2.2 Portrait Close-up Camera.
