OPPO Reno 9A launched in Japan!

The phone is looking like a toned-down Reno8 Z 5G in terms of camera, storage, and battery.

First of all, it comes with a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Inside, it has the never-ending 6nm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor with Adreno 619L GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB expandable memory.

The phone's battery has 4,500mAh with USB-C 18W fast charging power brick.

For cameras, OPPO opted to use a lower 48MP primary shooter but this time they added an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and 2MP macro unit. For selfies, it still has the 16MP shooter.

Others mentioned are the side fingerprint reader for security, IPX8 rating, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

On the connectivity side, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

For OS, the phone runs Android 13 with a ColorOS 13 skin overlay.

Japan price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

The phone is now available for pre-order in Japan while the sale begins 7 days later. No word from the phone maker if it will come here in PH. Anyway, you can try taking a look at the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G with a similar processor, way better specs, and sold at a much cheaper price.

What do you guys think?
