5 highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Fold5 - The PC in your pocket?

Alongside, the Samsung Galaxy Flip5, the brand also introduced another foldable called the Galaxy Z Fold5 last night.

With a start price tag of PHP 98,990, the Galaxy Z Fold5 is the newest premium foldable of Samsung with PC-like capabilities based on their claims.

Slimmer than its predecessor!

1. Sleeker Premium Design - While it comes with a familiar look from the Fold4, it is now slimmer with measurements of 6.1mm when unfolded, and 13.4mm if folded.

On top of that, Samsung boasts an improved hinge to lessen the gap between the screen halves and produce a lesser crease from its predecessor. Also, it comes with an Armor aluminum frame to complement its overall build and design.

2. Wide cover screen and even wider main display - The Galaxy Fold5 uses a 6.2-inch HD+ 2316 x 904 Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with 374 ppi which can be used as your standard smartphone mode.

Meanwhile, it can also be expanded to a 7.6-inch main display mode when unfolded which by the way has a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with 2176 x 1812 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1750 nits max brightness.

3. Beefy internals - To live up to its PC in your pocket moniker Samsung equipped it with the current top-tier mobile processor called the 3.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with New-Adreno GPU and is paired with 12GB or 16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage choices.

4. Improved Multi-tasking feats - In order to capitalize on its powerful hardware, Samsung included software enhancements that will complement such as new gestures 2 finger swipe to go for side-by-side multitasking, swiping down diagonally to resize apps, seamlessly switching back to full windows or split screen mode, flex mode panel, easier hide and pop up apps and drag and drop feature.

5. Top tier triple cameras - The brand says it is equipped with 50MP f/1.8 primary shooter with Dual AF, and OIS and is accompanied by 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle plus another 10MP f/2.4 for 3x telephoto shooting.

For selfies, it has 10MP f/2.2 with FOV 85-degrees and Dual Pixel AF, while it also has an under-display 4MP camera with f/1.8 aperture on the main screen.
