The Korean tech giant gears this device as a "PC on your pocket" through its large display, high-end internals, multi-tasking features, and cameras.
To start, it comes with a 7.6-inch FHD+ 2176 x 1812 Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen at 374ppi with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 1750 nits of peak brightness.

On the other hand, the cover screen has a 6.2-inch HD+ 2316 x 904 Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with 374 ppi. While both front and back are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Meanwhile, Samsung highlights the new Flex Mode Panel wherein users can watch or do content on the top half of the screen and then have further controls on the bottom part.
Inside, the Galaxy Z Fold5 uses the 3.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor with New Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage choices.

For battery, it has a 4,400mAh capacity USB-C 25W wired fast charging. There's also wireless charging but still unspecified in terms of wattage. But it may likely be similar to the Z Fold4 with 15W.
For cameras, the Fold5 uses 50MP wide f/1.8 sensor with Dual Pixel AF, OIS + 12MP ultra-wide f/2.2 sensor, and another 10MP f/2.4 3x telephoto sensor with OIS + LED flash.

On the selfie side, the cover display features 10MP f/2.2 with FOV 85 degrees and Dual Pixel AF, and the Main display has 4MP f/1.8 with 80 degrees Dual Pixel AF.
Other features noted is the Ultrasonic Fingerprint reader, IPX8 rating, and S-pen included.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, LTE, GPS, OTG, Bluetooth and dual SIM support.
For OS, it runs Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1
