Samsung has launched the next generation Galaxy Watch wearable which brings a larger display with 2,000 nits peak brightness and a larger battery.
Samsung has introduced two new members of its Galaxy Watch line of wearables.
The first is the Galaxy Watch6 which comes in either 44mm or 40mm and is made of Armor Aluminum case with a sport band. It has a Sapphire Crystal protected 1.3-inch/1.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 432 x 432/ 480 x 480 resolution and it supports a Full-color Always-on display. It features a touch-based bezel.
While the Galaxy Watch6 Classic comes in 43mm and 47mm and is made of Stainless steel case with a Hybrid Eco-leather band. It has a Sapphire Crystal protected 1.3-inch/1.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 432 x 432/ 480 x 480 resolution and it supports a Full-color Always-on display. It features a physical rotating control bezel.
Inside both variants are the 1.4GHz Exynos W930 dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 300mAh/425mAh battery with Fast Charging.
Running the show is WearOS 4 Powered by Samsung with One UI 5 Watch on top.
Both variants include an optical heart rate sensor, electrical heart signal, bioelectrical impedance analysis, temperature sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor. It connects wirelessly thru LTE (exclusive to Globe), Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo.
It is rated for 5ATM and is IP6830/MIL-STD810H certified for water and dust resistance.

It will be available for pre-order from July 26 onwards and should be available for purchase at Samsung stores, authorized dealers, and distributors by August 18, 2023.
