Infinix GT 50 Pro as choice for tournaments

Infinix has been announced as the Official Smartphone Partner for Blood Strike Assault, an invitational third-person perspective (TPP) tournament billed as one of the largest of its kind in the Philippines. 

The design and liquid cooling

The event is scheduled for August 16, 2026, at Shooting Gallery Makati and will feature 15 creator teams and players competing in the mobile game Blood Strike.

Partnership details

As part of the sponsorship, Infinix will showcase its gaming-oriented product lineup at the event, positioning the partnership as part of its broader push into the local gaming and content creator space.

GT Verse ecosystem

Central to Infinix's presence at the tournament is what the company calls the "GT Verse," a set of connected devices comprising the GT 50 Pro smartphone, GT Buds wireless earphones, and GT Watch 5 Pro smartwatch. 

The display

To recap, the device uses a 6.78-inch LTPS 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 4nm Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip, Mali-G6720 MC7 GPU, 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB/512GB storage.

It also features a 6,500mAh battery, liquid cooling + VC cooling, and GT triggers. Furthermore, the phone also features AI-assisted gaming features for an efficient playing experience.

According to Infinix, the three products are designed to work together to support gaming, entertainment, and everyday use.

Attendees will be able to view and test the devices at an Infinix-branded booth set up at the venue.

Tournament format

Blood Strike Assault will bring together 15 creator teams and players from the Philippines' Blood Strike community to compete in the TPP shooter game. Organizers describe it as one of the country's largest invitational tournaments for the title.

Infinix said the partnership reflects its continued investment in the Philippine gaming market and its efforts to engage with local content creators and players. Additional updates on the event and the GT Verse lineup are being shared through Infinix's official community channels.
