vivo S50t Vitality Edition launched: 6.59-inch AMOLED, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, and 50MP main camera

vivo unveiled a new midrange device in the form of the S50t.

New name but familiar internals

The vivo S50t Vitality Edition comes in four color options: Space Black, Inspiration Purple, Confession White, and Serene Blue. This reminds us of the vivo S50 announced last year.

The device measures 157.52 x 74.33mm, with thickness ranging from 7.49mm to 7.59mm depending on the chosen color, and weighs up to 197 grams.

The four colorways

In front, the device sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 x 1260, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support for a 2000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate.

Inside, the S50t Vitality Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options going up to 512GB.

The device is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery that supports USB-C 90W wired charging. 

On the back, it features a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, which supports up to 100x digital zoom.

For selfies, the phone houses a 50MP front camera with autofocus. 

Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor alongside face unlock support.

Connectivity features are WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM.

The device runs OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.

It is currently available in China. No word yet for other markets at the moment.
