After seeding the OS 2.0.1 update in mid-July, Nothing has released another software upgrade for the Phone (2).

The new update brings plenty of improvements and bug fixes to the Nothing Phone (2) to make its already great experience even better.

Front camera - Enhanced photo clarity, improved quality in low light settings, faster HDR processing speed
Rear camera - Enhanced photo clarity in 50MP mode, optimized stability + contrast when recording videos, improved photo quality in low light, improved contrast + bokeh effect in Portrait mode, optimized clarity of faces in Portrait mode, faster HDR processing speed
New features - Feature that can shut down apps when the device reaches its temperature limit, refined out-of-battery visual when the device is switched off, added different icons for each of the Nothing audio products to volume control, updated to Google's July security patch
Improvements - Reworked haptic feedback strength when typing, improved responsiveness of the touch panel under certain conditions, reliability of network for multiple global carriers, enhanced performance of some games when played in HDR, improved system stability
Solutions - Amended issues with Dirac Audio, resolved an issue affecting Google Wallet functioning in cloned apps, fixed an issue causing "double tap to wake" to be unresponsive at times, resolved an issue causing the Bluetooth Quick Settings tile to be unresponsive at times, and other general bug fixes.
To update, all you need to do is go to Settings > System > System Update on your device. Make sure that you have enough battery life before updating.
The Nothing OS 2.0.2 is 98.34MB big.
The update is only available for Phone (2) users. But, the company said that they will be launching the latest version of the OS 2.0 for the Phone (1) before the end of August.
In the Philippines, the Nothing Phone (2) is available via Digital Walker with a starting price tag of just PHP 38,990.
