GoPro will bring its latest generation of action cameras to the Philippines. Behold the HERO12 Black.

GoPro HERO12 Black is now officially in PH

GoPro is one of the most popular brands to ever make an action camera with robust stabilization features and build.

As per the brand, it has the capability to shoot up to 5.3K resolution in 60 frames per second or 4K resolution in 120 fps thanks to the 1/1.9 CMOS sensor. GoPro also mentioned that users can take 27MP photos or 24.7MP video stills as well.

HyperSmooth 6.0 video stabilization

It is accompanied by what they call HyperSmooth 6.0 Video Stabilization with 360-degree Horizon lock. These features will ensure smooth recording even when doing extreme sports conditions.

The device also uses a versatile 8:7 aspect ratio so it will give users allowance to crop their videos according to their liking. GoPro also boasts that it has a 36 percent wider field of view in horizontal while it has up to 48 percent field of view in vertical mode.

GoPro also talks about how the action camera can also shoot at the 177-degree field of view which is the widest from their product yet.

It will have 2x longer runtime while the brand claims that its 1720mAh ENDURO battery can shoot 5.3K60 for 70 minutes or plus 1.5 hours when doing 5.3K30 and over 2.5 hours for continuous recording at 1080p30. Additionally, the battery uses advanced tech which enables it to withstand extreme cold temperatures versus its predecessors.

Moreover, the device is waterproof and can last up to 33ft without a protective house or up to 196 ft with protective ones.

It supports built-in mounting with folding fingers 1/4-20 mount and has 3x microphones, 3.5mm audio mic input w/ media mod for HERO12 Black or PRO 3.5 mic adapter (optional).

The HERO12 Black also now supports Bluetooth connection so user can now pair their AirPods or other supported devices as well as wireless microphones.

GoPro is also offering a creator edition that includes the Hero12 Black, a cage, a microphone, an LED light, and a tripod that doubles as the hand grip with a Bluetooth remote.

Finally, it uses the Quik App available on PlayStore or App Store where you can edit videos, add special effects, and more.
