TECNO earlier on Facebook revealed that the POVA 5 Pro 5G is now available in the Philippines.

Upgraded POVA 5!
This is the upgraded 5G-ready version of the highly capable POVA 5 budget gaming phone.
This device brings a cool-looking 3D Mecha Design for gamers with the Turbo Stripes light strip and 9-color RGB interactive design. It is a breathing LED light for incoming calls, startup, notification, charging, games, music, or low battery. According to TECNO, every mode has its unique lighting pattern.

TECNO also added an NCVM coating for a metallic luster and low electric conductivity available in Dark Illusion Silver Fantasy colorways.
In front, the device uses a 6.78-inch LCD (IPS) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and FHD+ 2460 x 1080 resolution at 391 ppi. The max brightness is 580 nits.
The major upgrade is its use of the 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, a 5G-ready chipset that is one of the fastest at this price point.
The device is paired with 8GB RAM, 8GB Extended RAM (total of 16GB), 256GB internal storage, and a smaller 5,000mAh battery but with a faster USB-C 68W Ultra Charge tech with Bypass Charge tech.
TECNO claims that this battery can last for 9+ hours of uninterrupted gaming and 12 hours of video screening. It also has the STS Secure Battery Technology to prevent internal short circuits and can be charged from 0 to 50 percent in 15 minutes.
The phone also has pop-up alerts if your charging port has liquid or foreign objects to prevent potential hazards.
For cameras, it uses a 50MP main shooter and a 16MP selfie camera.
To keep its performance in check, TECNO added a Dual Heat Dissipation system for gaming with a large 2,820mm² vapor chamber and 12,979mm² dissipation area.
