HONOR X5 Plus, X6a now in PH: Helio G36 chips, 50MP main cameras, starts at PHP 5,990!

Two affordable smartphones are now available in PH named the X5 Plus and the X6a both of which are listed at Tekpone shop.

HONOR X5 Plus, X6a now in PH!

Let's start first with the HONOR X5 Plus which was announced last month. To recap, it features a 90Hz 6.56-inch LCD (TFT) panel with HD+ resolution, 16.7M colors 20:15:9 aspect ratio. One of its main features is Dynamic Dimming technology which simulates the changes in natural light to minimize eye strain for longer periods.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.2GHz 12nm MTK Helio G36 8-core chip with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, 5,200mAh battery USB-C + 10W charger.

The features

For cameras, it comes with a 50MP f/1.8 main shooter + 2MP f/2.4 depth helper. At the front, it uses a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.

The HONOR X6a colors

Next is the HONOR X6a smartphone announced last July 2023. For this device, it features a similar 90Hz 6.56-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1612 x 720 resolution.

Inside, the phone is powered by the same Helio G36 chip as well as the 4GB RAM. The difference will be the bigger 128GB expandable memory.

The battery is identical too at 5,200mAh but it will be supplied by a 22.5W fast charger instead.

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.8 primary sensor and 2MP f/2.4 depth and macro sensors. For selfies, it uses 5MP too.

For both phones, they use using fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, and stereo speakers.

Connectivity-wise, it has 4G LTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC (WOD-LX1 only).

For software, the phone runs Android 13 with/ MagicOS 7.1 skin on top.
