HUAWEI Watch GT 4 smartwatch launched: 41mm and 46mm sizes, Premium looks, and improved battery!

After weeks of teasing, the new premium smartwatch from HUAWEI is now here featuring premium looks and upgrades.

HUAWEI Watch GT 4 Series launched!

It comes in two sizes mainly 41mm and 46mm. The 46mm features an octagonal steel case and is available in 4 strap choices which are the Fluoroelastomer (Black), Green composite, stainless steel (Grey), and leather (Brown).

46mm variant

Meanwhile, the smaller 41mm version appears in a circular golden pattern made of stainless steel as well. It comes with Flouroelasomer, Milanese, and White Leather straps.

As for the display, the wearables have 1.43-inch or 1.32-inch AMOLED screens depending on the variant with 466 x 466 resolution at 326 ppi. Both devices come with a vast library of more than 25,000 watch faces that can be customized with different colors and widgets.

The watch now supports dual-band GNSS for more accurate position tracking, especially in busy city areas, for outdoor activities. It can monitor over 100 sports, including emerging ones like Padel and e-sports.

41mm variant

For your fitness, HUAWEI's Stay Fit feature will keep track of your calorie intake with real-time data. There's also Activity Rings 2.0 which users can easily view their activities throughout the day such as calories burned, exercise time, and standing activity.

The Huawei Watch GT 4 series includes new health and fitness tracking features. TruSeen 5.5+ now features TruSleep 3.0, which monitors your sleep habits and assists you in sleeping better. While you sleep, it also monitors your heart rate and SpO2, alerting you to any breathing problems.

HUAWEI also included the Menstrual Cycle Management 3.0 which they said is more accurate now by making use of tracking heart rate, sleep temperature, and other factors to predict and record menstrual cycle. 

The battery life is still 14 days for 46mm and 7 days for 41mm. HUAWEI claims they are 20 percent longer battery than the previous model.

Finally, the wearables are compatible with Android and iOS and also support Bluetooth calling.

Currently, it is only available at the HUAWEI online store in Germany and UK. No word yet for other markets.
