Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, Tab A9+ launched: 8MP rear cam, AKG tuned Speakers, Bluetooth 5.3 LE

Korean giant Samsung quietly introduced the Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+ with WQXGA screens, an 8MP rear camera, and AKG-tuned speakers in India.

Affordable Samsung tablets for 2023?

The smaller Tab A9 comes with an 8.7-inch WQXGA LCD screen with a 1,340 x 800 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Inside is the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core processor, ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage, and 5,1000mAh battery with 15W Adaptive fast charging. It comes with AKG-tuned dual speakers and in front of the tablet is a 2MP front-facing camera.

While the larger Tab A9+ comes with a 11-inch WQXGA LCD screen with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Inside is the 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, Adreno 619L GPU, 8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB, and a 7,040mAh battery with 15W adaptive fast charging. It comes with AKG-tuned quad-speakers and in front of the tablet is a 5MP front-facing camera.

Both tablets come with an 8MP rear camera, dual SIM (nano+eSIM) support, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3 LE, GPS, and USB-C.

Running the show is Android 13 with OneUI 5.1.1 and it will come in either Dark Blue, Grey and Silver colorways.

The two models are now available for pre-order in India thru Amazon and will start shipping within the week.
