Nothing Phone (2a) is officially available tomorrow!

To recall, Nothing announced its 3rd iteration of the smartphone earlier this week—a slightly toned-down version of the two but still retains the key aspects and identity of the brand.

It has a transparent back panel but with lesser Glyph LED lights. It's worth pointing out that the camera resembles the Robot Disney character Wall-E as the lens is looking right at you.

The display

In front, has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen which has a resolution of 2412 x 1084, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a refresh rate that ranges from 30 to 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The screen is also covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.

The design

Inside, the Phone (2a) features the new 2.8GHz 4nm MTK chip called the Dimensity 7200 Pro octa-core processor with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. It is also paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.

For battery, the phone is equipped with a 50MP f/1.88 main camera with OIS + 50MP ultra-wide and a 32MP selfie camera at the front.

Other features are an In-Display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and 3x microphones.

Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS.

The phone runs Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5 pre-installed. The brand also guarantees updates for up to four years.
