FUJIFILM GFX100SII and GF500mm F5.6 super telephoto launched with Camera Samples!

FUJIFILM has introduced the new GFX100SII 102MP medium format mirrorless camera and the new GF500mm F5.6 R LM OIS WR super-telephoto lens!

Lightest 100MP GFX series camera yet?

The new GFX100SII inherits the majority of its physical appearance from the previous generation but with noteworthy upgrades. The first is the new Bishamon-TEX leather, originally introduced with the bigger GFX100II.

Also introduced with the bigger GFX100I are the 102MP 43.8 x 32.9mm BSI CMOS II sensor and the X-Processor 5 Image Processor. These changes allow the new medium format camera to have an ISO range of 80-12,800, up to 7 frames per second shooting, up to 8-stops of image stabilization, 400MP Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode, 5-axis Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization, up to 4K at 30fps Video recording, F-Log2 Gamma, and over 20 Film Simulation modes including the new Reala Ace.

The 0.5-inch 5.76 million dot electronic viewfinder is at the back, and below it is a 3.2-inch 3-way tilting touch LCD screen.

Files are saved into the dual SD/SDHC/SDXC card slots. It uses the reliable NP-W235 originally introduced with the X-T4. 

The body measures 150 x 104.2 x 87.2 mm and weighs 883 grams with the battery.

FUJINON GF 500mm F/5.6 R LM OIS WR

FUJIFILM also introduced its longest focal length lens for the GF mount. The new FUJINON GF 500 f/5.6 R LM OIS WR offers a 396mm full-frame equivalent focal length and features 21 elements in 14 groups with five ED and two Super ED elements that the company says reduce aberrations. It offers 6-stops of image stabilization and is weather-resistant in design. It is compatible with the optional GF 1.4x TC WR teleconverter. It has a 9-bladed diaphragm and has a minimum focus distance of 9 inches. It accepts 95mm filter threads.
