OPPO A3 Pro 5G launched: Dimensity 6300, up to 256GB storage, and durable build!

Last April 2024, OPPO announced the A3 Pro, now a similar name but with toned-down hardware is unveiled.

The phone also comes with a different design which has a rectangular camera island. It uses a Magnetic Particle design in the Dark Purple colorway to achieve a dynamic flowing texture, while the Starry Black uses the OPPO Glow process.

Similarly, this adopts the same All-Round Armour Body protection with reinforced internal instruction and drop-resistant materials like Blue Glass double-tempered glass to ensure the phone can withstand daily drops and impacts.

Key components within the phone are also cushioned with a Biomimetic Sponge to absorb shock. The A3 Pro has been certified by SGS Drop-Resistance (Standard) and SGS Military Standard for its extraordinary toughness.

The back and front view

At the front, the device uses a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. It also has an 8MP front camera.

Inside, it has a 2.4GHz 6nm Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For battery, it has a 5,100mAh capacity that charges using a 45W USB-C SUPERVOOC power brick. 

In terms of imaging, the phone uses a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture + 2MP portrait sensor + LED flash.

Other features noted are a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.

Connectivity features are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin on top.

It is now available in India, Amazon, Flipkart, and OPPO stores. The brand has not yet if it will come to other countries.
