Apple said that features like "Look Around" which offers 360 degrees of panoramic views will be available in the coming months. There are standard, hybrid, and satellite map views. It however does not have a street view which remains Google Maps' main advantage.

All developers including MapKit JS users can also link to Maps on the web so their users can get driving directions, see detailed place information, and more.

Interested users can access Apple Maps on beta.maps.apple.com in English on Safari, Chrome on Mac and iPad, and Chrome and Edge on Windows PCs. Apple also said that support for languages, browsers, and platforms will be expanded over time.

What do you guys think?
