Xiaomi earlier announced that the Redmi 13 will be officially available in the Philippines starting July 12.

A display larger than Redmi Note 13?

This is the company's newest style-and-camera-focused budget smartphone featuring a glossy back design with IP53 dust and water splash resistance and a large 6.79-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a notch for the 13MP selfie camera.

Best features of the phone

The display has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Circadian Friendly, and Flicker-Free certifications.

Weirdly, this phone has an even bigger display than the Redmi Note 13 with a 6.67-inch screen.

Inside, it is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra octa-core processor specifically optimized for Xiaomi phones. It is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB eMMC 5.1 expandable storage, and a 5,030mAh battery with up to 1,000 cycles and 33W fast charging via USB-C.

The highlight of its back camera is the 108MP f/1.75 primary sensor with pixel binning and up to 3x in-sensor zoom. It also has a Ring flash at the back for images in the dark and even notifications.

The new phone runs on Android 14 with Xiaomi's HyperOS skin out of the box.

The company claims that the new phone was also optimized to minimize performance degradation over time for a "seamless out-of-box" user experience even after 36 months of regular use.
