The latest branch at the Greenhills Mall in San Juan City opens!

open_source by Beyond The Box has steadily opened stores nationwide including the branches in Parqal Paranaque City, Opus Quezon City, Mitsukoshi BGC Taguig City, Robinsons Gapan Nueva Ecija, and at the NuStar Resort and Casino Cebu. This makes the Greenhills store the 6th store overall.

Like previous stores, the place is stocked with the latest tech from brands such as Apple, Samsung, Marshall, UAG, Audioengine, Momax, Soundpeats, Shokz, and nothing more. There are desks where customers can touch and try the gadget they may want to purchase but need the tactile experience.

During the launch, several products that just arrived in the Philippines were demoed including the recently launched nothing Phone (2a) Plus. It is the latest smartphone from nothing that supposedly carries both style and substance. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,412 x 1084 resolution and a 30-120Hz refresh rate. Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro octa-core processor, Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, LPDDRX RAM, 256GB/512GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging. At the back of the phone are the dual 50MP rear cameras and in front is the 50MP selfie camera.

XREAL  Air 2 on display in-store

Our friend, Gian Viterbo of Gadget Pilipinas demoed the new XREAL Air 2 and Air 2 Pro. It is currently the brand's lightest wearable Display which should provide all-day comfort. It connects via USB-C Display Port. It features two 500 nits Micro-OLED screens with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution (per eye) and 120Hz refresh rate and Binocular Birdbath optics with Native Passthrough that offer 46 degree Field Of View. It uses a 3 DoF Non-positional tracking system and has integrated stereo speakers. It measures 148 x 51.4 x 161 mm when in use and weighs 72 grams. It is compatible with select Android devices, iPhone 15 or newer, iPad, Windows, Macbook, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.
