Redmi Buds 6 launched: 49dB ANC, dual-drivers, up to 42 hours battery

Apart from the Redmi Note 14 5G, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Buds 6 TWS earbuds.

This comes with a fresh-looking design in Cyan, White, and Black colorways. The new buds feature dual-unit acoustic architecture boasting 12.4mm titanium-plated diaphragm drivers and a 5.5mm micro-piezoelectric ceramic unit made to produce detailed music.

It also supports 49dB ANC which is claimed to block 99.6 percent of ambient noise. The audio unit also features 360-degree spatial stereo sound effects and personalized Sound ID based on your hearing sensitivity.

Furthermore, the AI with dual microphones can minimize wind noise up to 9 meters per second. The earbuds are also capable of adjusting noise cancellation based on the structure of the ear canal and how they are worn, offering noise reduction even when using just one earbud.

For battery, it offers 10 hours per bud extending up to 42 hours with its charging case.

The features of Redmi Buds 6

The Redmi Buds 6 sports an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance which means it can handle some sweat or splashes.

Additional features noted are HyperOS compatibility for seamless connectivity with Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices, dual-device connectivity, fast pair, single-click photo capture, audio sharing, and EQ customization using the Xiaomi Headphones app.
