Free, natural conversations

Google has announced that its AI assistant Gemini can now be downloaded for free via Apple's App Store. This will be aside from using Gemini through the Google app on iOS or a web browser.

Gemini is now available on iPhone, so you can enjoy free, natural conversations with Gemini Live, a statement read.

Through the Gemini app, iPhone users can talk to Gemini in a conversational manner, including interrupting to ask questions or change the topic. The AI assistant's voice can be personalized by choosing from 10 distinct voices.

Gemini Live on iPhones is available in over 10 languages, with more coming soon.

This feature's AI-powered learning platform provides personalized study plans, quizzes, and step-by-step explanations to help users learn effectively.

Gemini also has Imagen 3, Google's highest-quality image generation model yet, that transforms text descriptions into AI images.

Gemini can be connected with a user's most used apps from Google. With Extensions5, Gemini can find and show relevant information from the Google apps used most of the time like YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail, and Calendar.
