HONOR today confirmed that the Magic V3 foldable will officially launch in the Philippines on November 20, 2024.
The HONOR Magic V3 is the company's newest top-of-the-line foldable smartphone.
Its main highlight? This is the thinnest foldable smartphone in the world at just 9.2 to 9.3mm when folded. In comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is only a bit slimmer at 8.25mm.
Moreover, the device is considered lightweight for a foldable smartphone at just 226 to 230 grams.
For specs, it is bleeding edge especially for a foldable smartphone is slim and light.
The folding screen is a 7.92-inch FHD+ LTPO panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, 1.07 Billion colors support, and stylus compatibility.
According to HONOR, its hinge supports around 500,000 folds.
The cover screen, it has a 6.43-inch FHD+ LTPO panel with a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, a 4,320Hz PWM dimming, DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 5,000nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, the device uses a 4nm Qualcomm 3.3GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno graphics, 12GB RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage, and a 5,150mAh battery with 66W wired SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging.
The cameras are not bad either. HONOR managed to squeeze a 50MP f/1.9 main shooter with OIS paired with a 40MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and even an 8MP 3.5x periscope camera. There is a triple LED flash.
For selfies, it has a 16MP shooter on the top-center punch-hole of both the cover screen and the folding panel.
What's missing is the SRP. We will keep you guys posted once we get more information.
