This phone boasts ultra-tough triple defense which comprises iconic drop resistance, scratch resistance, and now even water resistance thanks to the IP65 rating. This should provide the phone with 360-degree protection against some levels of water while also supporting touch controls even when the screen is wet.

HONOR says this is the world's first 5-star Comprehensive Reliability Certified by SGS 2m Drop Resistance with 166 percent comprehensive reliability.

Slim body

Another highlight is the ultra slim design measuring 7.98mm and weighing 189 grams.

This smartphone also comes with a Titanium Finish bringing a unique texture feel to its back. Speaking of which, it is available in Titanium Purple and Titanium Black. Meanwhile, there's also a glass back finish with the Jade Cyan color.

The features of HONOR X9c

In front, it uses a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with 1.5K 2700 x 1224 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4000 peak brightness, and an In-Display fingerprint sensor.

Inside, the phone retains the 2.2GHz 6nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU. It is paired with 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and a large 6,600mAh silicon carbon battery with 66W wired fast charging.

For cameras, it still has a 108MP main shooter with OIS+EIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera + LED flash. On the selfie side, it uses a 16MP f/2.45 front camera.

Other features are stereo speakers with up to 300 percent audio output.

Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, 4G, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 interface.

Malaysia price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

HONOR X9c 12GB/512GB - MYR 1,699 (around PHP 22.8K)

The HONOR X9c is currently available in Malaysia. However, the brand has kept silent if there's a PH availability.
