Xiaomi launched the Redmi A4 5G officially—the world's first Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 smartphone.
It first appeared during the unveiling of the said processor last July 31. Now we have full details of the latest entry-level from Xiaomi.
The phone comes with a Black or Purple colorway and features a circular camera island housing two sensors and an LED flash.
In front, it uses a 6.88-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Inside, the phone uses 2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC with Adreno GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage, and expandable memory up to 1TB using a microSD card.
For battery, the phone uses a 5,160mAh size with 18W fast charging.
In the camera department, it has a 50MP shooter and a secondary camera but the function isn't mentioned. For selfies, It has a 5MP front camera.
Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Connectivity-wise, it has 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and dual SIM.
For OS, the phone runs Androdi 14 with HyperOS.

The phone is going to be available on Amazon India while the sales begin on November 27. No word yet for a PH release.
