TECNO SPARK Go 1S arrives in PH: 90Hz screen, Helio G50 chip, as low as PHP 3,509

TECNO Mobile Philippines introduced a new budget smartphone in the country called the SPARK Go 1S.

From UNISOC T615 of the SPARK Go 1, the Go 1S is equipped with the "new" MediaTek Helio G50 processor.

This "gaming" chip for budget smartphones is a slightly underclocked version of the Helio G35 from 2020. The difference is it now has support for 90Hz FHD+ displays (from 60Hz and larger up to 50MP cameras (from up to 25MP only).

The display is still 6.67-inch in size with HD+ resolution, but the refresh rate is down to 90Hz from 120Hz. There is still a Dynamic Port on the punch-hole for displaying the charging speed, face unlock, notifications, and more.

For the rest of the specs, the device is equipped with 3GB RAM (up to 6GB Extended RAM), 64GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 15W fast charging.

Also, the handset still has a 13MP main camera with Rear Dual Flash and an 8MP selfie shooter with Front Dual Flash.

There is also a 300 percent full-scene louder volume stereo speaker (dual speaker setup) with DTS audio and IR Blaster remote control.

The phone runs with the lightweight Android 14 (Go edition) OS.
