Leica launches LUX Grip

A new premium magnetic grip for iPhone users

The Leica LUX Grip is a camera grip for iPhones with MagSafe technology made with premium full-metal aluminum housing weighing just 130 grams.

This camera grip also has a mechanical shutter button and two (2) freely definable FN buttons allowing its users to control the cameras of their iPhones more easily.

The device also works as a stand and could be used for both landscape and portrait photography. Moreover, it has a screw mount that you can attach to an aftermarket tripod when needed.

It connects with Bluetooth 5.0 LE technology and could be maximized with the Leica LUX app with an option to access Leica's Summilux-M or Noctilux-M lens bokeh effects.

It also has full control over exposure, ISO, and shutter speed, as well as the unique Leica Looks.

When users also register the grip to their Leica account, they will receive
a FREE 12-month subscription for the PRO version of the Leica LUX app.

The device comes with a 300mAh lithium-ion battery. A single charge on its USB-C port could provide up to 1,000 shots in 2 hours.

Leica said that it is compatible with a cognac-colored leather pouch (probably sold separately) with a nice patina to store and protect the grip after use. It is made with high-quality cowhide leather, premium-quality inner padding, an embossed Leica logo on the flap, a magnetic fastener for quick access, inner compartments for charging, integrated AirTag holder.
