Samsung intros Galaxy F06 5G: MediaTek D6300, 50MP main cam, budget price tag

Samsung introduced a new budget smartphone for the Indian market called the Galaxy F06 5G.

According to the South Korean tech firm, this handset comes with 12 5GB bands with Carrier Aggregation to deliver faster download and upload speeds for all network support in the country it is available.

The device features a "ripple glow" flat back cover available in Bahama blue and Lit Violet colors, a 6.7-inch PLS LCD HD+ screen with 800 nits peak brightness, a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 25W fast charging.

The cameras

It also has a 50MP main cam and 2MP depth dual-camera setup at the back and an 8MP shooter for selfies.

Other specs include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS dual SIM, and Android 14 OS with One UI 6 out of the box.

The Galaxy F06 comes with timely software upgrades for 4 years

Samsung promises to support the device with 4 generations of major OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates.
