MacBook Air M4 priced in PH: 13 or 15-inch + 18 hours battery, starting at PHP 64,990

Apart from the new iPad 2025, Apple also revealed the M4 edition of MacBook Air.

Stronger MacBook Air

To recap, the chip features a 10-core CPU, up to 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine, and it supports up to 32GB of unified memory and up to 2TB of SSD.

The M4 chip

Apple promises 23x quicker performance compared to Intel-based MacBook Air or 2x faster than the M1 model. In terms of AI tasks, it offers 3x better performance versus the predecessor too.

MacBook Air M4 design

It is available in two display sizes, such as the 13.6-inch (2560 x 1664 resolution) or 15.3-inch (2880 x 1864 resolution), True Tone Retina display, wide P3 color gamut, and 500 nits peak brightness.

In terms of battery, it has a 53.8WHr size for the 13-inch model and a 66.5WHr for the 15-inch variant. Both are rated up to 15 hours of web browsing, 18 hours of video. For charging, it supports a 30 or 35W power adapter.

The new MacBook also sports a 12MP Center Stage camera with support for Desk View and can handle Full HD video recording.

Other features are Magic Keyboard, Touch ID, Force Touch trackpad, 6 speakers with Spatial Audio, 3.5mm headphone jack.

For I/O, the M4 MacBook uses 2x USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, DisplayPort, USB 4, MagSafe 3 charging port.

Wireless connectivity is WiFi 6E (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.3.

On the software side, it runs macOS  Sequoia out of the box.

Right now, you would see the base storage got more affordable compared to last year's M3 model with a starting price of PHP 69,990.
